Analysis of the Epidemiological Situation

Dengue activity intensified during the second week of March, particularly in Matoury and Cayenne, where the number of hospitalized cases also increased. The island of Cayenne therefore remains in the epidemic phase. Although data from the sentinel network have been incomplete for the past two weeks in the Kourou sector, other indicators suggest that this sector remains in an epidemic phase.
