In Saint Martin, viral transmission remains stable at a low level. In Saint Barthélemy, the circulation of the chikungunya virus remains low. In Martinique, the number of cases seen in private practice is rising again after a decline during the Easter holidays, indicating that the epidemic is continuing. In Guadeloupe, the epidemic is accelerating rapidly. In French Guiana, the circulation of the virus is intensifying, and the weekly number of newly identified local cases is increasing. Several outbreaks have been identified in Cayenne.
