Analysis of the Epidemiological Situation
The chikungunya epidemic continues in Saint Martin, although the intensity of viral circulation has been declining in recent weeks. This community remains in phase 3b of the Psage*: widespread epidemic. In Saint-Barthélemy, viral circulation has decreased significantly in recent weeks. However, this territory remains in Phase 3a of the Psage* chikungunya system: Epidemic situation. In Martinique, viral circulation remains active and is intensifying in certain areas, particularly in the North Caribbean region. Martinique is still classified as Phase 3a: Epidemic situation. In Guadeloupe, viral circulation is intensifying; only 5 municipalities are currently free of the virus. This department remains in Phase 2a of the Psage*: Moderate local transmission. In French Guiana, the transmission cluster remains active in Kourou. French Guiana has been placed in Phase 2 of the Psage*: Moderate local transmission*
