Key points

Guadeloupe and Martinique:

  • In Phase 4, Level 1 of the PSAGE dengue protocol: confirmed epidemic

  • Dengue surveillance indicators are stabilizing at high levels. The DENV-2 serotype has been identified in all cases investigated in Martinique and Guadeloupe.

Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin:

  • Following consultations with members of the Technical Committees for Dengue Monitoring (formerly CEMIE) on October 11 and October 19, 2023, respectively, Santé publique France considers that the epidemiological situation regarding dengue in Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin corresponds to Phase 2 of the PSAGE dengue:

    • Outbreaks with potential for escalation or multiple outbreaks with epidemiological links between them and/or a seasonal resurgence of cases, with or without exceeding the expected maximum level.
