Dengue in the Caribbean. Bulletin of June 26, 2025.
Key points
Martinique
Dengue surveillance indicators are at levels expected during the inter-epidemic period. The epidemiological situation for dengue corresponds to Phase 1 according to the PSAGE dengue: presence of sporadic cases.
Guadeloupe
Dengue activity is generally decreasing compared to the beginning of the year. Following consultation with the Technical Committee for Dengue Monitoring (June 18, 2025), Santé publique France Antilles considers that the epidemiological situation for dengue now corresponds to Phase 2, Level 1: Isolated outbreaks. Given the school vacation period, the influx of potentially unimmunized travelers, and the hurricane season—which favors mosquito proliferation—vigilance remains essential.
Saint Martin and Saint Barthélemy
The situation is calm. These territories are currently in Phase 1 according to the PSAGE dengue classification for both territories: sporadic cases and isolated outbreaks or outbreaks with no epidemiological link(s).
