• The flu epidemic continues, with increased circulation of influenza viruses. The proportion of patient visits attributed to acute respiratory infections has doubled among sentinel physicians. The influenza A(H1N1)pdm09 strain is predominant. In addition, rhinovirus circulation is on the rise.

Bronchiolitis in children under 1 year of age 

• No public health impact.

Gastroenteritis 

• A decline in gastroenteritis activity in emergency departments, following the increase observed the previous week.

Leptospirosis 

• A third death has been identified (under investigation). Off-season period, low transmission rate with sporadic cases.
