The difference between simply growing old and aging well is just a click away: www.pourbienvieillir.fr

According to international studies¹, 70% of how we age is linked to our lifestyle and environment, with the remaining 30% depending on our genetics: there is therefore no age limit when it comes to taking care of your health. That is why pension funds, in partnership with Santé publique France, are launching the reference website "pourbienvieillir.fr," aimed at people aged 55 and older.

A website to answer seniors' questions

Pourbienvieillir.fr takes a comprehensive and positive approach to aging. Its goal is to help everyone take control of their own aging process by making positive changes in their daily habits. To this end, the site features five sections: "Mental Well-being," "Physical Well-being," "Social Well-being," "Home Life," and "Managing Your Pension," which provide information, advice, and tips for aging well in various formats: articles, videos, brochures, quizzes, and assessments…Retirees can also easily find prevention workshops organized by pension funds near them via an interactive map.

A section dedicated to professionals

The site is also a source of information for professionals in the field of healthy aging, with a dedicated section: "Professionals’ Area." This section offers professionals thematic prevention resources, tools to support their healthy aging initiatives, and a list of professional training programs in health promotion.

Santé publique France is the national public health agency. A public administrative institution under the supervision of the Minister of Health, created on May 1, 2016, uniting the INPES, the INVS, and the EPRUS.

Since 2011, the Pension Insurance (Cnav, Carsat, etc.), the MSA, and the Social Security System for the Self-Employed (RSI) have continued their prevention efforts among retirees, focusing on three key areas:

  • information and advice on how to enjoy retirement and prepare for a loss of independence;

  • action programs and group prevention workshops throughout the country;

  • individual assistance for the most vulnerable, based on a comprehensive assessment of each person’s needs.
