Promoting Physical Activity: Strategies That Have Proven Effective.

In addition to addressing individual determinants, population-based interventions (networking, organizational changes, environmental modifications, etc.) can lead to increased physical activity among large numbers of people. This article draws on the international literature to identify effective interventions and propose a strategy for population-based interventions in France aimed at promoting regular physical activity, in line with national and regional health and education policies.
