Diet and Physical Activity: Knowledge and Behaviors.

The INPES has just published the results of the "Health and Nutrition Barometer," a periodic survey of the French population. While consumption rates for starchy foods, meat, fish, and eggs are satisfactory, consumption of fruits, vegetables, and dairy products remains insufficient, and consumption of sugary drinks and ready-made meals is on the rise. Furthermore, just under one in two French people engage in physical activity that is beneficial to their health.
