Asthma Health Monitoring - Back-to-School 2019. Weekly Update, September 24, 2019.
In week 38 (September 16–22),
nationwide, following a sharp increase observed in week 37, the number of asthma-related visits remained stable at SOS Médecins clinics and declined in emergency departments among children under 15. The level of visits is lower than in the previous two years. The proportion of hospitalizations following emergency department visits for asthma is also declining.
In the Indian Ocean region, emergency room visits and hospitalizations following visits for asthma are stable among children under 15.
