To mark the first National Asthma Awareness Week (September 21–27, 1992), organized by the Asthma Association, this document provides an overview of the activities scheduled for that time. It also discusses educational programs in other countries and the national survey on the daily lives of people with asthma (1992, Asthma Association). The charter of the association organizing this event is presented.
