More information about the hackathon

The various waves of the COVID-19 pandemic have seen the mobilization of a highly active ecosystem of public and private stakeholders, leading to the creation of new resources and services that have been widely embraced by the general public. Initiated by civil society actors and organized with the support of the Interministerial Directorate for Public Transformation as part of the “open government” initiative, a 48-hour design and development hackathon will be held on April 23 and 24, 2021.

The goal of this hackathon is to strengthen the tools and solutions available to the French public in the face of the pandemic. Santé publique France, a partner of the event, is contributing to this ecosystem by making its data available through the 148 indicators accessible as open data on its Géodes mapping platform. On this occasion, Laetitia Huiart, Scientific Director of Santé publique France, will deliver a presentation.

This hackathon is open to anyone who has an idea, a skill, expertise, or an interest in COVID-19-related data and wishes to contribute to creating collaborative solutions to combat the pandemic.
