The purpose of this call for applications is to establish an Expert Committee on Infectious Diseases and Emergencies in the Northern Islands.
Terms of Reference for the Committee of Experts on Infectious Diseases and Emergencies (CÉMIÉ) of the Northern Islands
The creation of the Committee of Experts on Infectious Diseases and Emergencies (CÉMIÉ) of Martinique is intended to fulfill the regulatory obligations set forth in Decree No. 2013-413 of May 21, 2013, approving the charter for public health expertise provided for in Article L. 1452-2 of the Public Health Code.
This committee will consist of a maximum of 20 members, appointed by the Director General of Santé publique France and convened based on the agenda items and their specific expertise.
Staff from the Regional Health Agencies (ARS), Prefectures, and local authorities may participate in meetings of the Committee of Experts on Infectious Diseases and Emergencies (CÉMIÉ) for the Northern Islands as observers.
Committee members will serve in their own capacity and may not be replaced.
The expertise brought together in this committee must enable:
interpret the level of epidemic risk posed by endemic-epidemic or emerging diseases;
contribute to the assessment of infectious health risks;
to make recommendations to local health authorities, particularly regarding biological diagnosis; the organization of inpatient or outpatient care; and the management, control, and prevention of emergencies or epidemic events;
contribute, through its proposals, to the development, evolution, or adaptation of surveillance, alert, and epidemic management plans;
to contribute to feedback mechanisms in various local or regional health sectors;
to issue opinions taking into account the applicability and feasibility of recommendations issued by national bodies, such as the High Council for Public Health (HCSP) or the High Authority for Health (HAS);
to propose any additional studies as needed.
The target candidates are qualified individuals at the local or regional level (Saint Martin, Saint Barthélemy / French Territories of the Americas).

The application package must include:

a resume;
a list of works/publications from the past 5 years;
a public declaration of interests to be completed on the DPI SANTE ministerial portal.
