Information Systems Division

Given its critical role in public health, the Information Systems Department of an organization like ours must go beyond simply providing support services to business units.

It must be attentive to needs and new technological trends in order to be a source of innovative ideas and a driving force within the agency, operating in a connected, borderless world and maintaining constant communication with its national and international partners.

This forward-looking vision is reflected in general principles that guide our decisions:

•remaining constantly vigilant to translate technological advancements and innovative practices into value propositions;

•support science and research in the service of public health and prevention within the public service framework;

•Strengthen our international focus and our integration within organizations and bodies such as the ECDC and the CDC.

On a day-to-day basis and within the framework of information systems, the primary objective of the Information Systems Directorate is to provide the agency with the means to carry out its missions under optimal conditions.

As a result, it must ensure the continuity of the information system’s operation under normal conditions and in the event of a crisis, respond to requests arising from new needs—particularly the implementation of Santé publique France’s missions in terms of information systems, regulatory changes that must be complied with, and, increasingly, the need for interoperability with our partners.
