  • Mainland France: Decline in SARS-CoV-2 transmission, but all indicators remain at high levels

    • Decrease in the number of new confirmed cases, hospitalizations, and new ICU admissions

    • Trend toward stabilization in deaths (still developing and to be confirmed)

    • Excess mortality was more pronounced in weeks 43, 44, and 45

    • Most affected regions: Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur

  • Overseas

    • Martinique, Guadeloupe, and Mayotte: downward trend

    • French Guiana: upward trend

    • Réunion: Decrease in incidence

  • Prevention: CoviPrev Study (early November)

    • Increased adoption of hygiene measures and social distancing

  • Mental health: CoviPrev Study

    • Significant increase in depressive disorders across the general population (from 10% in late September to 21% in early November)
