  • Residents in long-term care facilities

    • 86.9% [86.2–87.5] of nursing home residents were vaccinated against the flu

    • 66.6% [59.0–74.1] of residents in long-term care facilities (excluding nursing homes) were vaccinated against the flu

    • 67.3% [63.1 – 71.6] of residents in EHPHs were vaccinated against the flu

    • 20.6% [8.8 – 32.4] of residents in other ESMS facilities were vaccinated against the flu

  • Healthcare professionals working in ESMS

    • 27.6% [26.4–28.8] of professionals working in nursing homes (Ehpad) were vaccinated against the flu

    • 26.5% [20.0–32.9] of healthcare professionals working in long-term care facilities (excluding nursing homes) were vaccinated against the flu

    • 14.7% [13.1–16.3] of professionals working in EHPHs were vaccinated against the flu

    • 18.0% [11.3–24.6] of healthcare professionals working in other social care facilities had received the flu vaccine

  • Flu vaccination coverage among residents in nursing homes is high but shows a downward trend compared to previous seasons.

  • Flu vaccination coverage among healthcare professionals working in long-term care facilities is very low.
