Trends of the Week

Acute Respiratory Infections (ARI)

  • Declining activity in primary care and generally stable in hospitals.

Influenza

  • All indicators at baseline levels in all regions except Réunion, which has been experiencing an epidemic since week 39.

Bronchiolitis

  • All indicators are at baseline levels in most regions.

  • Île-de-France, Guadeloupe, and Martinique have moved into the pre-epidemic phase.

  • An epidemic has been underway in French Guiana since week 31.

  • Rhinoviruses/enteroviruses capable of causing bronchiolitis are currently circulating in mainland France.

COVID-19

  • Decrease in all indicators in urban areas and hospitals.

  • Detection of SARS-CoV-2 in wastewater is also declining.
