Trends of the Week

Acute Respiratory Infections (ARI)

  • Activity remains stable in primary care and hospitals compared to Week 40.

Influenza

  • All influenza indicators at baseline levels in all regions except Réunion, which has been experiencing an epidemic since Week 39.

Bronchiolitis

  • All bronchiolitis indicators are at baseline levels in all regions except French Guiana, which has been experiencing an epidemic since week 31. Rhinoviruses and enteroviruses capable of causing bronchiolitis are currently circulating in mainland France.

COVID-19

  • Most indicators have decreased in the community and stabilized in hospitals compared to week 40. Detection of SARS-CoV-2 in wastewater is on the rise.
