Since September 1, 2013,

• 163 reports of carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning involving 490 people have been filed. Four deaths have occurred as a result of accidental CO poisoning.

Over the past two weeks,

• two deaths from accidental CO poisoning occurred, one following the use of a generator and the other following the use of a space heater.
