Since September 1, 2012, 515 cases of CO poisoning have been reported, involving 1,634 people, of whom 1,145 were transported to a hospital emergency department and 200 were admitted for hospitalization.

• A mass CO poisoning incident occurred in a church due to the improper use of radiant panel gas heaters, exposing 41 people to CO fumes; six were transported to a hospital emergency department, and one person was referred to a hyperbaric chamber.

• Four people died from CO poisoning during weeks 2012_S50 and 2012_S51 in three incidents caused by a malfunctioning boiler.
