Update on Weeks 3 and 4 of 2009

The number of reported cases of carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning, which was abnormally high during Week 4 (January 19–25), appears to be linked to CO poisoning incidents following the passage of Storm Klaus in southern France. The next bulletin will present a preliminary assessment of CO poisoning cases related to Storm Klaus.
