Editorial Team – Editorial Policy
"Health in Action," a quarterly journal dedicated to prevention, health education, and health promotion, is published by Santé publique France.
The journal disseminates scientific knowledge in the field in French and presents effective or promising interventions in the field. Its editorial focus, centered on the theme of reducing social and regional health inequalities, positions it as a practical resource for professionals. It incorporates recent concepts in health promotion established by the scientific literature, such as citizen and stakeholder participation, accessibility, and health literacy. Particular attention is given to initiatives carried out in local communities, including in the overseas territories, and to international experiences.
In each issue:
a 30- to 40-page feature section presents the current state of knowledge and practices on a specific theme: school health, health promotion in healthcare settings, sexual health, peer education, remote assistance and health hotlines, stigma and health, social inequalities in health, training and education in health promotion, older adults’ health, etc. Documentary resources titled “Learn More” list available information: literature, websites, resource organizations, and educational tools.
Sections address various topics by theme, setting, or population. They present study results and survey findings, perspectives from stakeholders, interviews with experts or users…
