Survival Rates for People with Cancer in Metropolitan France, 1989–2018 - Mantle Cell Lymphoma

In mainland France, the number of new cases of mantle cell lymphoma is estimated at 887 in 2018, with 76% occurring in men (673 cases compared to 214 cases in women). Key points: Intermediate prognosis with a 5-year standardized net survival rate of 63% for individuals diagnosed between 2010 and 2015; Higher 5-year net survival among those diagnosed at a young age: 82% at age 50 and 46% at age 80; Improvement in standardized net survival at 1 year (+4 percentage points) and at 5 years (+10 percentage points) between 2005 and 2015, more pronounced among older patients.
