Survival Rates for People with Cancer in Metropolitan France, 1989–2018 - Lip

In France, for the year 2018, the estimated number of new cases of lip cancer was 546, including 383 in men and 163 in women. Key points: A cancer with a favorable prognosis, with a 5-year age-standardized net survival rate of 89% for individuals diagnosed between 2010 and 2015; 5-year net survival varies little with age at diagnosis (87% at age 80 and 91% at age 50); Low excess mortality rate for all ages 5 years after diagnosis.
