Informing Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing People: Sharing Experiences.

More than five million French people are affected by hearing loss. These individuals must have access to the information they need to make informed choices and take an active role in their healthcare. This guide is the result of three years of experience by INPES, with support from the National Solidarity Fund for Autonomy (CNSA) and professionals in the field who work with deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals. Through this compilation of experiences, the Institute aims to share its expertise in this area and provide practical solutions to all communicators involved in designing information that is accessible to as many people as possible.
