Key Points
In Week 39 (September 21–27, 2026), activity at SOS Médecins clinics remained stable across all age groups compared to the previous week.
Respiratory indicators continued to rise, reaching levels comparable to previous years for:
- Influenza/flu-like illness in adults (+26%, or +719 cases).
- Bronchitis in all age groups (+21%, or +692 cases).
- Upper respiratory tract conditions in adults (+9%, or +1,457 cases).
- Suspected COVID-19 infection across all age groups (+19%, or +173 cases).
- Pneumonia in people aged 75 and older (+26%, or +60 cases).
- Bronchiolitis in children under 1 year of age (+12%, or +17 cases).
- Asthma attacks in children under 2 years of age (+20%, or +14 cases) and in those aged 75 and older (+112%, or +27 cases).
Among other indicators, there was also an increase in procedures for infectious conjunctivitis among children under 2 years of age (+11%, or +15 procedures) and chickenpox among children aged 2–14 (+22%, or +18 procedures).
