Key Points

In Week 35 (August 24–30, 2026), compared to the previous week, activity at
SOS Médecins clinics increased for children under 2 years of age (+6%, or +201 visits), decreased
for those aged 75 and older (-7%, or -468 visits), and remained stable in other age groups.

• All monitored indicators remain at levels comparable to or even lower than in
  previous years.
• However, there was an increase in cases related to respiratory indicators:
• Bronchitis in adults (+21%, or +292 cases);
• Suspected COVID-19 infection among those aged 15–64 (+125%, or +139 cases), at levels
  lower than in previous years;
• Asthma attacks among those aged 15–64 (+27%, or +91 cases) and among children (+15%, or
  +21 cases);
• Upper respiratory tract infections among children under 2 years old (+11%, or +137 cases).

Among children, there was also an increase in cases of gastroenteritis (+11%, or
+144 cases), insect bites (+30%, or +94 cases), impetigo among children under 2 years of age (+42%,
or +23 cases, with levels higher than in previous years), and for trauma
among children aged 2–14 (+16%, or 87 additional cases).
