Key Points

In Week 18 (April 27–May 3, 2026), the final week of school vacation for Zone C, activity at SOS Médecins clinics increased among children, particularly those aged 2–14 (+11%, or 1,863 visits). Activity remained stable among adults.

Among children, there was an increase in cases involving upper respiratory tract conditions (+7%, or 594 more cases), gastroenteritis (+12%, or 244 more cases), trauma (+12%, or 106 more cases), and asthma attacks (+6%, or 19 more cases).

Among children and adults, visits increased for:

  • vomiting (+16%, or +90 visits) across all ages;
  • fever alone (+20%, or +177 visits) across all ages;
  • allergies in children (+24%, or +151 visits) and in adults (+8%, or +129 visits);
  • insect bites in children (+9%, or +20 visits) and in adults (+57%, or +166 visits);
  • anxiety in children (+57%, or +16 visits) and in adults (+8%, or +26 visits).

Finally, there was an increase in visits among adults for urinary tract infections (+11%, or +208 visits) and general malaise (+17%, or +41 visits).
