More pronounced increase in the incidence rate among people aged 60–89

Prevention
Vaccination (COVID-19 vaccine data):
As of October 19, 75.9% of the French population had received at least one vaccine dose, and 73.9% were fully vaccinated
As of October 19, 13.7% of people aged 65 and older had received a booster dose
Lower vaccination coverage among adults living in vulnerable situations compared to the general population: 74.9% with at least one dose and 72.7% fully vaccinated (vs. 81.6% and 79.6%, respectively) as of October 17
CoviPrev Survey for wave 28 (September 28–October 5, 2021): increase in sleep problems, anxiety, and depression compared to wave 26 (July 15–21, 2021)
Importance of combining different measures: vaccination, including the booster for the population over 65 years of age, adherence to contact tracing, and compliance with preventive measures
