How can professionals in education, health care, and social services learn about the concept of health promotion? In France, several thousand of these professionals have, as part of their duties, the task of promoting public health. This issue was designed as a tool to help them in this endeavor. In particular, it introduces the concept of health promotion, the available training programs, and their content. Also in this issue: an evaluation of anti-smoking policies, as well as a survey showing a reduction in sleep time among middle school students. And a presentation of the disability and sexuality program implemented by Family Planning in the Vaucluse department.
