Men's Health, May/June 2010, No. 407 Health Education in Schools: What Skills Do Professionals Need?

Schools are places where health is promoted, but how should professionals go about intervening? This feature article reviews the current state of knowledge and highlights methodologies and examples of interventions. Also in this issue: interviews with Prof. Jean-Paul Moatti (behavior and prevention) and Laïla Loste (chronic diseases), a survey on sleep, and training for general practitioners in identifying and intervening in alcohol-related issues.
