Health in Action, No. 432: Health Risks and Emergencies: Taking Action for and with Communities
How can we prepare communities to cope with health risks? This is the theme of this special feature, which provides an overview of current knowledge and practices, compiled by some twenty experts and researchers (anthropologists, physicians, etc.), as well as practitioners in the field, with a focus on the Regional Health Agencies (ARS). A key feature of this issue is its examination of the extent to which risk prevention and health emergency management involve the public.
