Health in Action, December 2013, No. 426: Reducing Social Inequalities in Health Starting in Early Childhood
Some twenty experts contributed to this special issue on early childhood and social inequalities in health. This issue is coordinated by Nathalie Houzelle, Pilar Arcella-Giraux, and Thomas Saïas. Numerous grassroots programs are featured, particularly those addressing substandard housing (Bouches-du-Rhône and Aubervilliers, in Seine-Saint-Denis). Also included in the issue, under the following headings: a section on the theme of “promoting the health of people with disabilities,” with examples of initiatives.
