Why is nature essential to us?
Nature is an essential environment for human societies. Water, air, food production, and medicinal resources sustain populations, and their well-being depends largely on the quality of natural environments. Conversely, the depletion of biodiversity jeopardizes this balance and directly threatens the health of both humans and other living beings.
