When doctors and pharmacists try their hand at health education.

For one year, general practitioners and pharmacists—who received training and compensation—were able to devote time and resources to incorporating an educational component into the care of three patient groups: adolescents, pregnant women, and older adults. This pilot action research project took place in five regions of France. It has yielded encouraging results.[article excerpt]
