Violence Against Women and Mental Health: Results of the 2000 Enveff Survey

The national survey on violence against women in France was conducted from March to July 2000 among a representative sample of 6,970 women aged 20 to 59. The data collected illustrate the extent to which the experience of violence, as reported by women, is associated with poorer health, particularly in terms of mental health.
