Urban Planning and Health-Promoting Design: Learn More [Bibliography]

To complement this issue’s special section on urban planning and health, this bibliographic section brings together a collection of resources, divided into four parts: the first lists key texts on environmental and urban planning issues (reports, public plans, WHO statements); the second section, devoted to urban planning challenges in support of health, presents a bibliographic selection, itself classified into subsections: physical activity and active and sustainable mobility, sustainable urban planning, health impact assessment, gentrification, and social health inequalities. A few special issues of journals devoted to these themes are also presented at the end of this section. The third section lists the main guides and tools for action, useful for local authorities and on-the-ground stakeholders engaged in addressing these issues. Finally, a directory of key stakeholders concludes this section.
