Targeted Approaches in HIV Prevention: New Issues, New Challenges.

The author reviews and contextualizes the evolution of AIDS prevention policy in France, questions whether or not it is appropriate to target public awareness campaigns, and emphasizes the need to address the specific needs of women. She also highlights the polarization of the epidemic among two particularly affected groups—gay men and migrants—and the need to work closely with vulnerable populations.
