Summary of Session II.

The discussions, which were truly fascinating and complemented those of the previous session, allowed us to take another step forward in defining the "gerontological field," which, as we clearly understood this morning, is multifaceted and open to multiple interpretations. We embarked on a journey through both time and space with the international experiences presented to us by Professor Béland and Professor Henrard, experiences that we compared with more or less recent French examples. This journey allowed us to identify several commonalities in the definition of “gerontological territories.” [article excerpt]
