Promoting dialogue to develop urban policies that support life and health
The rise of nature in the city, as a deliberate approach to promoting health, is not a given, given that initiatives to support biodiversity often struggle to take public health issues into account—and vice versa. Yet synergies could amplify the health benefits for the urban ecosystem, including humans. Tools are being developed to help municipalities reconcile ecological imperatives with health considerations.
