To round out our series on health promotion in prisons, we present here a selection of resources in three parts. The first two parts aim to contextualize the concept of health promotion in prisons by providing, on the one hand, a selection of foundational texts and definitions on health promotion and, on the other hand, an overview of the general framework—both institutional (laws, reports) and historical and sociological—regarding health in prisons. The third part offers a selection of references specifically dedicated to health promotion in prisons, as well as resources for practitioners in the field (methodological intervention guides).
