Prevention and health promotion are part of an ecological approach that involves developing complex interventions with multiple effects, requiring specific evaluation methods. These methods raise important methodological questions, particularly regarding the limitations of using experimental methodological paradigms designed for clinical evaluation. Thus, knowledge about these interventions intersects two issues: their production and their use, the former being closely linked to the latter. How can we generate "evidence" on health prevention and promotion interventions that is useful for practice?
