In preschool, the restroom is a place for play and learning [Interview]

Privacy, safety, accessibility, cleanliness… The issue of school restrooms resurfaces regularly, like a recurring theme. As part of their training at the School of Advanced Studies in Public Health (EHESP), two school physicians participated in a field survey conducted among students, school staff, and parents. Based on the results, they developed an analysis framework for school administrators. This tool aims to encourage dialogue in order to implement simple, low-cost solutions that make restrooms a more pleasant communal space to use and that respect students’ basic needs.
