Peer Education: Expectations and Limitations.

Peer education offers undeniable benefits for health education among adolescents and young adults. It has been widely developed and implemented, particularly by people living with HIV/AIDS, people who use drugs, and other groups: individuals directly affected who have stepped in as peers… to support their peers. However, it is not a magic bullet, and it must not lead to adults shirking their responsibilities to engage, listen, and provide support.
