The Living Library: A Tool for Combating Stigma in Mental Health.

Originating in Denmark and recently introduced in France, the "Living Library" initiative provides a space for dialogue where people living with mental health conditions can share their personal stories and experiences with an audience eager to learn more about the issue. Scientific research shows that the best way to combat stigma is to bring those affected into direct contact with the general public. Living Libraries are based on this exchange.
