From Interculturality to Situations of Otherness.
Discussing interculturality and situations of otherness equally engages both the user and the institution in a balanced relationship where the "foreign" user can calmly embrace their otherness and where the institution accepts its responsibility to respond effectively. Such reflection calls for a reevaluation of the act of caring, educating, and supporting, acknowledging the inherent asymmetry in the relationship between a user—by definition, isolated—and an institution—also by definition, collective and powerful.
