Improving Cancer Prevention: Learn More [Bibliography]
The selected resources are organized around risk factors, following a review of general works covering all aspects of the disease: public policy, prevention, epidemiology, and care; at the international level, preference was given to documents outlining major objectives in the fight against the disease. We chose to exclude personal accounts, even though they offer an interesting perspective on patient education. Similarly, resources specific to certain cancers were excluded, as this dossier does not address the issue in that manner. Organizations and institutions are classified according to their target audience; organizations that serve only patients and their families are included in a specific section, as are research organizations.
