Two years after its creation, the INPES-EHESP Chair in Health Promotion takes stock of current practices across France. The picture is mixed: professionalization, a proliferation of grassroots initiatives, coordination of public policies, regional coordination, and attention to social health inequalities are positive developments. But there is room for improvement: sharing experiences, developing research and evaluation, innovative approaches, and intersectoral interventions.
