Addressing student health is a matter of concern for the entire educational community. Health professionals—nurses and doctors—and social workers who work in schools are employees of the Ministry of National Education: this unique organizational structure places them squarely within the framework of the mission to promote health and provide social services for students. They work in close collaboration with members of the educational team, parents, and other stakeholders involved with the school.
