The book by the Laboratory for Studies and Research on Social Intervention (Léris), *Emancipation as a Prerequisite for Politics: A Reexamination of Social Action*, is the result of two years of collaborative work and aims to explore one of the central themes running through the research conducted at Léris: that of emancipation.
